Another “Jesus”…like the most High Isaiah 14:14

The devil operates and deceives by “counterfeit and imitation”

 

For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.    2 Corinthians 11:4   

 

You have “another Jesus,” “another spirit,” and “another gospel.”  These are all Satanic counterfeits of the real thing.  So we are not surprised to find another “church,” which is another “city,” which is Satan’s bride, just as the real church is New Jerusalem, which is Christ’s bride.   

  • And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.  (Revelation 17)

There is “another Christ” besides “the Lord’s Christ”

  • And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord's Christ. Luke 2:26
  • The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ.  Acts 4:26

 

There is another “God”

·        In whom the god of this world (Satan) hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. 2Corinthians 4:4

 

Satan has his own “faith healers” and apostolic signs

·        For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.  Revelation 16:14

·        Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 2 Thessalonians 2:9

 

In order to be “like the most High” Isaiah 14:14, Satan would have to have his own “Bible, teachers, church members, sacraments, music, prayers, worship, disciples, soulwinning efforts, holy days, and holy places.  If you are going to catch the “counterfeits” then you had better know the real thing.

 

Here are some of some of the groups that have “another Jesus.” There are all kinds of “Jesuses” on the market today:

 

  • The Charismatics have a “Jesus” in which they are always proclaiming boldly, “Jesus is Lord!”  That is the confession of a devil!  The Scriptures says someday “every knee should bow and every tongue should confess” that including “things under the earth” Philippians 2:10-11   But the Scriptures say that “Jesus is THE Lord.” 1 Corinthians 12:3 (Someone “left the article THE out)

 

  • There is the “Mormon Jesus” who has a spirit brother of Lucifer and married three or four wives while here on earth.

 

  • There is the “Catholic Jesus” who can’t be approached except through His mother and is “paraded around like He is still on a cross.”

 

  • There is the confused teenager Jesus of “Jesus Christ, Superstar” who is “ultra hip, cool, and likes to hang out and rap”

 

  • There is the “revolutionary Jesus” of Liberation Theology who goes around busting into department stores stealing television sets and hollers about “oppressed minorities” and “social injustice.”

 

  • There is the liberal, “modernistic Jesus” who swishes around in His long robes with His mouth full of butter quoting only the Beatitudes.

 

  • The black folks even have their own “black Jesus” 

 

The question is not do you worship or follow “Jesus”; the question is have you received the Jesus of the Bible as your personal Savior?

 

Then there is “another spirit.” 

  • If you got any other spirit since you got saved, other than the Holy Spirit you received when you got saved, you got the Devil’s spirit. 
  • The Bible says that “the Lord is that Spirit” 2 Corinthians 3:17, and “if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.” Romans 8:9
  • When you got saved, whether you knew it or not, the Holy Spirit came into you and put you into Christ   For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. 1 Corinthians 12:13

 

And there is “another gospel”

  • If you believed a gospel apart from the shed blood and faith in the finished atonement of The Lord Jesus Christ and trusting Him as your Savior, then you have believed a lie.
  • Paul warned the Galatians about this and those preach it are accursed:  I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:  Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. Galatians 1:6-7

 

And finally, ye might well bear with him

  • The idea is this: “When someone starts feeding you a lot of spiritual junk, then (politely if possible) tell them that you have a King James AV 1611 Bible and know when someone is trying to pull your leg.”  (in other words, don’t put up with it for a moment.) * Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.  Ephesians 6;11
